1 Finger = Style

2 Fingers = Scared

I know, I know, I can;t jump without one finger on my brake, I don't loose any grip, because it's in a sweet place. I'm trying to get off the brakes for dh, so that I use them less, and get better reactions.

I don't care who you are if you have fingers on the brakes all the time you need to grow a set.

i ride street and djs and i found if you hold your finger on the brakes then you slow yourself down sometimes in bad situations

for example there are people who are going up a quarter pipe and get scared just before it and tap the breaks therefore not going as high where if you dont have a finger on you dont have time to use your breaks

or when you are going to try the new gap you built and your scared of it riding without breaks is the best thing of all because then you cant chicken out and it forces you do do more stuff

i personally find it pushes me to do more stuff if i dont use my breaks as much but i think its really personal preference
