alright gentlemen, youre in this thread, you've seen my post, what do you have to say? good and bad, i don't care... i want honest opinions of the stock complete.

lexx already called the complete a POS and told me to do a custom black betty build. i'm already doing one custom build right now of an iron horse 7point frame, and do NOT want to throw money at parts for two bikes and spend even more time trying to get just one finished to be able to finally ride.

front end seems high, and a small head angle.

the frame is a specific 24" so the wheel are 24 with a 26 fork

not to call you out but the night train isnt offered in a 24" frame is it? everything i've found says 26", and the new logos on the 2010 say nighttrain26. plus argyles arent made for 24" wheels, and it looks like whatever wheel is in there fits like a 26.

i had no problems with the stock parts failing or being weak as in most people we want lighter and better quality parts i want lighter parts cus i race my night train agains bmx 24" bikes

u will prolly never find a 24" suspension fork unless a company makes a 24" bike that willing to make the fork

sorry to bring this back from the dead, but how do you guys like your 09 nighttrains? I'm looking at on for dirt jumping. Is it more for street? Also, I'm pretty big, 200lbs, 6'2". I'm on an 07 p1 now, would this bike feel really small?

I wouldn't recommend Eastern. The geometry is quite spot on, but frame strength is questionable as is their lifetime warranty.

I first bought a complete Eastern Thunderbird. Basically every part died except the bar/stem and front wheel.

Frame cracked at the weld in the downtube/headtube junction.... everything else on the frame either snapped, cracked, bent or wore out really fast.

I called up eastern and asked them about warranty and they sent me a Black Betty (higher up model... basically claimed 0.1lbs lighter)

It was good for a year or so and then it started to develop a crack in the same area as the Thunderbird did... They denied me warranty and said I could just get crash replacement.

After all that fuss I just built up a NS Traffic.

My point is I recommend you get something else.

edit: and yes it's pretty small VERY flickable bike.
