Both companies have awesome high end products. As for now I run a 888 WC rc3 up front and a rocco wc rear, all I can say is that they are truly awesome. But then of course, RS has got the equal in boxxer and vivid. Almost everyone here has chosen a side, it's either rs or zocchi. Both brands have got their pros and cons, it's just up to you to choose which one you would like. Sure, the 888 is heavier than the boxxer (my 888 wc weighs 3,15 kg) but who cares about 400 grams if you aren't competing in the WC circuit? Since I'm a 200lbs dude I feel secure with those extra sturdy stanchions that the zocchi provides but I wouldn't complain on the boxxer. It's an awesome fork and I'll probably get one in the future (those 35mm stanchions looks insane! ) Why not realise that both are brands that makes awesome forks?
I'm an eternal Marzocchi whore, but all this 2009 product reliability hype still has me skeptical. Why is everyone saying that Marzocchi have got their shit back together when 2008 will go down as the year where they probably didn't release one single solid product.
i had a 08 dj2 and than i bought a 08 RS argyle 318 the argyle is much nicer for rebound and is just an all around better feeling fork and than my cartridge in side broke so i sent it back to RS on warenty and im gettign a 09 argyle 318 in return which is a sweet deal (even though they didnt change anything) its still sweet
So you can really notice the difference in feel from the DJ2 to the argyle??? I ask cuz I need to get a DJ fork and the DJ2 is about 100 dollars cheaper than the argyle...
well could you show me which site has argyles for $270 and I'll get them. But I doubt it unless they are '08 or something...heres my site im lookin at, the shop is near me
