Now? 6' - 190lbs [/Quoten]

good job man, whats your goal?

Well ideally I'd like to get down to 175 but i'm fairly content with where I am now. All it took was no more fast food, soda, or beef. That and riding as often as possible. Plus the riding I do, I try to throw in as many climbs as I can, yesterday I burned 2k calories on a 3 hour ride just because of the altitude change lol

Thanks though, it means a ton!

Yeah that's solid work man.

I was 265 last holiday season. I'm only 5'10.5. I'm a solid guy but that's WAAAAAAY to heavy for me. So I started fixing my diet and integrating some work outs. I'm in the process of upping my work outs and adding more pedal time back in and it's working.

I was 254 when I went in for an apt. toward the end of winter... march. Last week I was 231.

Goal for me is to hit winter in the 215 range. We'll see if I need to make a new goal after that but at 215 I'm pretty thin. When I raced dual slalom I was in the 205 range at my race weight and that was riding over 200 miles a week.

For me to dip under 200 lbs I'd have to start running and focusing on being skinny... which isn't my goal. I'm more of a fit type dude. I could care less about weight. Even at 250 pounds I'm in better shape than a lot of folks. My internal health is WAY healthy for a 34 year old.

Hopefully once I get my new stationary set up and get out of the bike I'm in now and into something more climb friendly the lbs will come off more.

I'm the same way. I have huge legs so people usually put me about 25-30lbs less than I am. I'll be happy when I'm the weight people think I am. LOL!

Great to see alot of people reaching their goals.
I'm a clysdale myself.
6'5"
228

I'm shooting to get to 215 or so. I've always been lean but the metabolism isn't what it used to be. I have been riding alot more this summer and am starting to see results. Not only in weight but overall stamina.

Damn dude... 228 for that height is solid!

I figure if I step up to the next notch on my work outs in the next 1-2 weeks I should have no problems hitting my goal by the time winter hits. I want to be fit enough to run circles around my little brother. I've been telling him the only reason he thinks he's better than me is because I have to move so much more weight around... time to put my money where my mouth is! LOL!
