ALMOST everybody on here will tell you that Eastern doesn't make good bikes. The main reason being that they sacrifice WAY TO MUCH strength for weight weenies Smile ... I have only been going to skate parks for about 3 months and I personally saw this guy snap his frame. All he did was a 180 from a wedge to slightly lower (6in approx.) wedge. Him and I both heard something and it sounded like a spoke broke or something, but we thought that was really wierd b/c it was a tiny little 180. So then he took a break and looked down at his bike and was like "Oh $#!T" .....LOL

It's too late now.

Once a company develops a bad reputation for producing mediocre products,it's very difficult to regain the trust of the consumer again.....if ever.

can you prove they havent ? normally there are pictures all over the internet of the new eastern parts broken, but none so far, they have made the tubing slightly thicker and dont make any cut outs, sounds good to me.

Touche, but I still don't trust them, and you'll never see an Eastern part on my bike Smile

fully understandable mate, its goin to take them some time to claw back a decent rep. one thing you cant deny is that they have an amazing team!

So are you willing to spend the money and take a chance on Eastern?

im guessing you have never studied buisness. companys can ALWAYS get back customer trust. all they need is good advertisement, ie, pros riding the parts, high standards and last but not least EVEN HIGHER STANDARDS
