I've just started getting into riding again, and i would like some opinions on good beginners models. Price range is about £800, and it would be used for freeriding mainly, but it would nice if it was flexible in what it can do.

It needs to be a hardtail i'm afraid.

I've been looking at a Flow Drift, but they're just too small for me, and they're not terribly comfortable to ride (well, my friends wasn't anyway).
I've also been looking at the Marin B-16 and the Norco Bigfoot.

i'm open to justified opinions!
