just wondering what stems most of you guys are using as my 24 seven one just looks like a big heavy block of cheese.

Ive seen a lot of people running NS anodized stems. i think its called a qark or something.

I've seen a whole lot of those NS Stems failing. Big cracks around the bolt holes, and spider fractures

Toss in my support for Straitline SSC's, I run them on both bikes.

I've run a couple different Azonic stems and been quite happy.
Currently running a 25.4 x 40mm Stubb with 2.5" rise Revenge bars. Awesome combination for most things street and jumping, and on the trail the rattle is non-existent.

Previously had a 31.8x45 Barretta with 1.5" rise Wrap bars. I liked them but wanted more rise and less rattle.

Both stems have gone through hell, and come out perfect.

Another reason I support straitline is because they're a 100% canadian company, and that says a lot for me, and they deserve my support. Not to mention, Greg @straitline is da bomb.

would be right in saying the shorter, 35mm stems are more preferred for jump bikes.
