So although these guys may not be the oldest or most classic rock band out there... they definitely deserve a place in this thread, not only for their influence on many great groups such as modest mouse and the strokes, but also their performances alongside many great artists including David Bowie, The Cure, The Smiths, Grateful Dead, the list goes on...
All great tunes, Really been feeling this one lately
Good Canadian gem right there. It's actually unbelievable the music that came out of Canada throughout the "classic rock era." The Guess Who, Steppenwolf, The Band, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, BTO, Rush, Aldo Nova, Chilliwack, April Wine, Tom Cochrane/Red Rider, The Tragically Hip, Bryan Adams, Streetheart, David Wilcox, Triumph, Loverboy, The Stampeders, etc. I could go on and on....
I don't think I can pass this up! But tickets aren't cheap Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/156579_10151102083635197_1503481695_n.jpg
I've seen Neil Young before and he's absolutely incredible live. One of the best shows, if not the best, that I've seen.
I've also seen GNR, but had to wait 4 hours for Axl to finally come on stage. They put on a good show, but be warned that you may be leaving the venue at 3:00 in the morning.
