is there such a thing as tandem downhill racing? if so where at?? who makes bikes/ frames for that kinda racing?

friend mnetioned it to me just thought id ask.

not too gullable. plenty of tandem bikes with suspension.... dont know how smart it would be to ride em on a downhill track but tha t nicolai is a free ride bike... look at that head tube angle...

Any more of a bad idea than what we all already do? Tandem riding is super fun. Why not go down hill? It's not like you could flip that thing end over end. Sure, there are stunts and rocks and logs that would be very difficult, but it doesn't mean that it's a bad idea does it? If I had some extra cash, I'd have a tandem. Maybe even a full suspension rig.
