Hey guys I'm about to buy clip pedals (Shimano PD-M540), right now I have flat pedals, (Crank bros 5050x) do you think is a good sdea this change? why? why not?

first, what kind of riding are you into? if you ride alot of xc then theres nothing but benefits to riding clips, but if your a dh racer then i would steer away from clipins
