Hi All,

Can someone tell me what is a decent chain guide to get for a 2004 Specialized big hit, I'm not too sure what kind can fit my bike, sorry if this is a stupid question, im only new to biking and not too sure what type of chain guide I need.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi mate. ive had the e thirteen one on mine for nearly 3 years and never had a problem, never lost a chain. and its silent. just be careful to get the right one coz there are a few with different boomerang angles.

Yeah mate there is those 3 holes by the crack looks like that bracket below would fit perfect.

I like the e-thirteen kit but very pricey and a million and one different sizes on CRC.

have a look at this superstar chain device, it's pennies compared to a e13 chainguide.

That looks pretty sweet. I could be tempted by one of those bad boys. Would love an e13 but can't afford it at the minute

Ye superstar's well cheap, especially the kevlar brake pads. There's also a cheaper one on the site (£25)

Ok lads, back with a new question. Chain guide, Lovely Stuff, Current cranks. Don't Fit. Pain in the stones, so basically now I need a new cheap set of cranks. Any ideas?

Right then, What cranks have you got now and did they fit before you tried fitting the chain device? Where do they not fit and why?
