Now plotted a graph on excel with the data.

The question asks us to verify that the median is correct using the graph and excel.

Sooo...how do you work out the median from a graph on excel?

If all the values are in order (smallest to highest) the median is the value in the centre of your list/graph.

Example:

The median of 1, 2, 5, 7, 8 would be 5.
