Im looking at buying a DH bike and these are the two I have in mind. I want to spend around the £1500-£1900 mark and I liked these the most of the bikes i have seen so far. If you have any other DH bike suggestions it would be great.

Spec:

Norco A-line = £1599.99
Stab Deluxe = £1749.99

Norco Forks = Marzocchi 888 RCV
Kona Forks = Marzocchi 888 RCV
Norco Rear Shock = FOX DHX-3, 7.9-8.9"
Kona Rear Shock = FOX Vanilla R, 8"
Norco Brakes = Avid Juicy 5
Kona Brakes = Hayes HFX-9 HD V8
Kona Crankarms = RaceFace Ride DH X-Type
Norco Crankset = TruVativ Hussefelt

That is the spec of the two bikes. Could you please tell me which one would be the best option with price and spec in mind.

Thanks

Although I like Kona, the Norco is clearly better spec'ed for the price. A-Line is the way to go.

i think you should get the norco because it has a better suspention system and a better spec.
and its cheaper

Get the norco. My friend got one and i can say the bike feel really great. It has better spec, it's less expensive and has a better suspension systeme. Both bike have a good geometrie for downhill. But The A-line is definatly the best choice between those two bike. It will handle any king of abuse. Norco has one of the best customer service in all the mountain bike market. So get the norco, ride and have fun!

the kona looks sik and its a better quality pic wich will sway some oppinions and as we all know red goes faster, however i would pick the Norco just better shit, better price

hmm. id go for the a line. a line park edition if you can afford it.

other options would be mongoose ecd, very cheap and great spec, boxxer, vivid, mtx, juicy 7, etc.

for 1900 pounds, you could order a sunday team from www.go-ride.com and have it shipped to your house for the 1900 price tag.

check out their site, they are US based, but will ship anywhere, that way your 1900 turns into 4000 US. it works well, i did it once.

The Aline is a full on DH bike, they share the same frame as the team DH just as the kona shares the Supreme frame. Both are entry DH bikes. The freeride bikes from Norco are the Shore series.

but why does norco put the Aline into the DH line up,i thougth that the shores are there main Freeride bikes.A freeride bike has 2 chain rings and DH bikes have 1 chain ring,The Aline has 1 so it's a DH bike.
