Y'all,
anyone here got any experience/tips with mix and match brake set ups. i know for a long time the pro's have been doing it, particularly on avid brakes, e.g code caliper on juicy ultimate levers underthe tag of black box, and now it seems Gwin and Gee are running saint calipers with the new XTR lever.

what i am looking at is my old but brand new formula b4 4 racing couple with and 08/09 formula mega lever ans res.

in theory it should work, even the pad contact should work as pad contact adjusters just push the plunger in before the stroke.

Can anyone see why this wouldnt work or have any tips for me.
cheers

turn it up to ten and rip the knob off!

as long as the combination is mineral oil with mineral oil or dot fluid with dot fluid, meaning dont pair a hayes lever/caliper with a magura lever/caliper so on. Dot fluid will destroy the seals in a mineral oil brake system, and mineral oil causes seals in dot fluid systems to swell
