hey peeps,
im converting my bike to singlespeed.
im gonna buy a ss conversion but dont know if my chainring and chain will work?
im running a 32t chainring with an 8 spd SRAM chain.
will they be compatible with the ss sprocket?
dont want my chain to slip as it kinda hurts on the knees...
any help appreciated.
cheers,
dom

you can choose your ss sprocket 1/8" or 3/32", if you plan to use your 8sp chain, you should choose a 3/32" sprocket

you probably already know this, but if you don't have horizontal dropouts, you will need to use something such as a noraileur (google image search it) to tension the chain
