Need to know if there is a different size free hub for 7,8,or 9 speed cassettes. Have single speed adapter on free hub and converting to gears. Bought bike that way.

hmmm, I'm not sure of that and don't have a 7spd near me right now. If you dont get an answer in the next few days I'll measure and post it once I get to the shop
