Hi I have a FSA Gravity front rim, I landed half on the spokes and half on the rim and put a good dent in the rim; I have a friend making a press for a long board with bottle jacks and wanted to try taking out the bend this way; its a pretty substantial bend, and was told it was not able to be trued. I was wondering if anyone else had any other jimmy rig ways to straighten a bend; I also have 3 loose spokes from when i bent it, and I think it stripped the threads of the spoke/nipple(seized). I'm also wondering if there is a brand of spokes with flat heads that I could buy for replacements.

I highly advise having some carpet or that thin foam stuff down before you do it - otherwise you'll just bend one side of the rim.

Sorry, can't answer your Q about the flat spokes. I'd just cut the broken/seized spokes and get replacements of the same length. Any good LBS will help you out.

I also assume you know how to true a wheel.
