Anyone ever use them? I know they come stock on lots of bikes now a days and wonder if anyone uses the higher grade rims? Prices?

As well I have this old Supra N rim that is threaded to a Shimano Vinm hub or something, I really don't know. Do you think it'd be worth getting the couple of new spokes that are missing, tube and tire and riding that around?

Thanks tup

i got supra bh's on my faith and they have worked great so far first fully so done my fair share of casing but they held up extremely well

I got a set of Supra N's and DM24's. The N's are a pretty good hoop, I'd say it's definately worth getting it re-laced.
I've found no issues with the DM24's either, they're a great inexpensive rim and they're light too.

alexrims DM 24's laced to red hedely hubs and DT swiss spokes

I had a set of dm24's but did not last long as they cracked on the joint that conects the ends together... they were on my freeride Devinci Johnson
SO my upgrade was DT Swiss FR2350'2!!! have not had any trouble since.
But if your just using for xc or all mountain they are great.

How much do Supra N's cost? I found mine where I work in the back shop Beer I was allowed to take it though lol. Also how much do DT spokes run for? $$$

I'm currently running the DX-32's, Supra BH's, and Supra D's (gold version) between both my bikes. In the 3 years of running all those rims I've never had a problem with them.

AlexRims tends to get a bad rep because of their lower end hoops that come stock on alot of bikes. If you get into their higher end rims, you are definatly getting some good quality product.

I had dx-32s and the dm-24. I thought they were heavy, ugly and the dx-32 REALLY spreads the tire.

But they are freaking bombtastically tough wheels.

How are the Supra N's for weight? How would they compare to say a pair of MTXs?
