Just a note to those of you considering and air shock:

The Vector HLR does not fit the gambler in the 'low' position. I had to get some offset bushings to remedy this, and now its back at roughly 62 degree head angle running in the high setting.

Hi ! I am 5.10 & I have a 2012 Gambler WC20 , no problems for me , If you look at the specs there isn't a big difference between the short & long .

I'm 5' 8.5" (ish) and I have a 'long', fits me perfect, as mentioned before I doubt there's much difference.

OK, I weighted them when I built my new wheel-set and they were if I remember correctly around 2.5 to 2.7 kg both.
My Gambler now weights 18.2 kg. Next step is to go tubeless! Smile
