Hi I'm new to dirt jumkping and i rented a bike my first time and im looking onlone for dirt junmpers in my area. i was wondering about the short/long option? anybody know the difference? anybody know whats better for pump tracks and jumps?

Its a measurement of how long the bike is. Short for short people, long for long people.
