were do you put your back brake? UK standard or EU standard or wat ever the US use! i from the UK but i now run EU with back brake on the right! when i rented a bike in sweden this caught out my freind as he tryed to drift but forgot the differnt set up n locked the front brake Thumbs Down i first ran my back brake on the right on my jump bike as i only run the one brake but i not run a EU set up on my freeride as well

Its different bacause of an old law that still stands. It encompasses Motorbikes too; "Front brake operated by the right hand"

On my street/DJ bike i run only a back brake and its on the right Smile

but on FR bike i run : back brake/shifter on the left and front brake/shifter on the right !Smile

The UK has got this one right. I don't know why is screwed up in NA and maybe the rest of the world too...

Why are motorcycles (dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, etc) one way (front brake, right hand)
and bikes another (front brake, left hand)?

Makes sense that they both be the same, and since most peoples primary hand is the right, why isn't the most important brake (front) on that side?

I DON'T KNOW!!!!!! ARGH!!!

Never mind, i thought that meant your back shifter was on the left, but its probably a typo.
