heres a pic of a bighit with a dhx 5.0

but thats an 06 bighit 3 mine is a 06 bighit 2 which is 1 step lower, will it still fit

and will the shock make my bike bigger?, since i upgraded from a vanilla to dhx 5.0
ok, i dont know the eye to eye of your big hit two but it may differ from that of the big hit three. like i said before dhx 5 vanilla r manitou swinger all have the same eye to eye options. what you have got to figure out is the eye to eye of YOUR bike. once you have found that out they will have that size guaranteed..maybe not at your local bike shop but you will be able to order it.. it will not make your bike bigger. HOWEVER if you get a shock that has a longuer eye to eye than your current shock your bike will be hiher off th ground. so make sure you order a dhx 5 that has the smae eye to eye as your current shock!!lol

no its pretty strait forward
you buy the same eye to eye length shock and you bikes geo wll be the same
but the bikes performance will drastically increase

Use the same spring that you already have. It will fit the dhx

you have a different bike. a 300 spring would be way too soft get a 400. maybe a 350 if you want it rediculously soft
