Hey, I don't understand how to pull my back tire straight after throwing it out sideways when I do a whip. When I try to stop it I have so much momentum from throwing the wheel out that I can't bring it in, but I can stop it from moving. When I generally try to do a whip, I go off the jump like normal except I come at it leaning the way I want to whip a little bit, then once in the air I turn my bars and throw my hips out and my back tire goes out sideways like it should. Once I'm there though I try really hard to pull it back with my hips and it only seems to stay where it was. Ive started pulling it back a few times but it only comes back in a very small amount. any tips?

Sounds like you've got it right, might just need more air time? Lead with your head and shoulders, the rest of you should follow including bike.
