Should i run low compression pistons with big turbo or I6?
As much as there are people on here that know what they're talking about, you'll get a lot better info by finding a forum specific to the type of vehicle that you're building. At the very least though, a little info on what you're building would be useful.

I'd suggest you don't do something that could cause you to throw a rod or f*ck a tranny until you have a vast knowledge or you have a secondary vehicle.

just the driveshaft, the truck rolls and starts so nothing is seriously damage, but driveshaft is guaranteed to be out of balance, and the U-joint, and mounting yoke are dicked. so i go to a wrecking yard, grab a driveshaft, and i should be golden.
So if i was to buy a v8, 5.3 or something of the sort. GM based. Just to pull apart and learn how shit works and eventually drop it into something what would I be looking for? 6.0 out of a 2500 chev?

Get a 5.3, that's what I'm doing. 6.0 had piston slap issues on some and are usually more expensive.
