ah yeah, gotcha, i was hoping for that, I guess time will tell, hopefully will know tomorrow
The only way to fix suck down is disassembly...
ah. just warming the grease inside that may be thickening up wouldn't do it?
No, stuck down is caused exclusively by an over pressure of the negative chamber. This occurs when air transfers from the positive to the negative chamber by some means other then the balance Port, most often in cold weather there seals do not function as well and let air leak past on hard bottom outs.
ah i see, that cleared it up.. so just need to take the air sleeve off, then put it back on? or do I need to do more? can't say that I have ever done work on shocks before

1. Drain sir and remove the valve core. 2. Remove shock eyelets, put a read through the aircan side eyelet. 3. Remove aircan, grease seals and reinstall. If you see any damage to the seals or glide rings you should replace them.
Just keep in mind that even once you deflate the shock the negative air spring will still remain very much sprung and once you've unthreaded it it's likely to pop/launch off the stanchion, hench the reed /rag through the eyelet to stop it going too far.
just got it, I missed an o-ring like a well good old idiot. there is a ridiculous amount of oil.. is there meant to be? like full explosion of oil when I opened it
edit : and now I can't get the can off the shock body.. maybe I should've taken it to someone that knows what they are doing. guess i gotta learn somehow though
