Beginner here..Moving to New Castle..Can anybody help me out for DH or AM routes?

Hey guys! I will be moving to New Castle, Australia, either on December of this year or January of next year. I am an AM or DH rider and would like to know if there are any good trails in the New Castle University area. Any bike groups as well? I tried Googling it as well as searching Youtube but I haven't really received any definite information. I appreciate the help. Thanks. It would be great to have a circle of acquaintances once I get there.

hey mate I'm from newy, its awesome here lots of places to ride. Have a look at http://hmba.asn.au/ that's the local mtb club. Also there is an Australian mtb forum called rotorburn have a look at that too
