Hi guys, I have had a but of trouble getting my cranks off, I have managed to take both crank arms off but I can't seem to get the axle out? Can anyone help with ways to get it out??

Depends on the bottom bracket.

If it is the standard bmx type, tap it out with a hammer. (wooden or rubber or use a bit of wood to protect the spindle)

Cheers mate, got it out after about half an hour of hitting it with a mallet haha

If you get a dedicated crank puller, the job is a lot easier than just bashing them off with a mallet. Just out of curiosity, what kind of bb do you have? I found that Spanish style works a lot better.

I had the same problem the first time I removed one. Hitting it just didn't seem right, but it was haha.

A crank puller removes the cranks, not the spindle.

So how would a dedicated crank puller help him remove the spindle if crank pullers don't remove spindles?

I was explaining how a crank puller would make removing the cranks easier.
