I rode one almost identical to this when I was 16 or so, but mine was stolen about 1992. I bought this one off a guy on Ebay about 11 years ago in a fit of nostalgia, but let it sit in a box on my back porch, unassembled, until about a week ago. I finally took it over to Bullseye Bicycle in Durham and let them reassemble / restore it for me. I took it with me this weekend to the 6BC endurance race and used it as a "pit bike" to ride around between laps, and just generally had it around as a conversation piece. A surprising number of people commented on it and thought it was pretty rad. I'm happy to have it going again, and looking forward to dorking around on this little beauty from time to time again.
that is one awsome old school freestyle bike. I have had a cuple of them they ride nice. but I am more in to restoring GT preformers. if you ever need factory or right year made replace ment parts. try the for sale on BMXmuseum
I want this bike!!! It is just like the one I had, before I left to college and my mom gave it to the church (some lucky kid in Mexico is riding it around). Let me know if you ever want to sell or come across another one exactly like it. Thanks
