Hey everyone, thought I'd create a ATV/Side by Side thread, doesn't seem to be a specific one and all the others are clogged up with motos and snowmobiles. Anyhow, you should know all the rules for threads by now, but in case you don't...Plase read the following before posting, if you break any of the rules you will be banned.
- Flaming anyone's race, faith or sexual preferences WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, PERIOD!
- No trolling;
- No names or avatars that are insensitive to others' faith;
- No vulgar posts, no nudity, no rude, crude or obscene pictures;
- No offensive language;
- No flaming or bashing of competing websites;
- No links to distasteful websites;
- No selling bikes or any items on the forums;
- No "price-my-bike" type of threads;
- Please don't flame bikeshops, you can tell us your problem, but DO NOT trash who it is your issue is with.
- No replying to "bot" threads. These are threads posted by automated programs whose content consists of links to porn, medication or the like. The moderating team is doing all it can to remove said threads, please DO NOT post in them. Furthermore, the messaging of a moderator or administrator to alert them of the presence of one of said threads is forbidden as it is deemed of little to no use and just clogs up the moderators' and administrators' PM inboxes.
- No avatars (factual or fictional) that depict or allude to the following: scenes involving violence or cruelty, pornography/nudity/excessive sexual imagery, racism or homophobia and other such graphical content that might be misconstrued and deemed as being offensive in nature. The latter will be determined by administration on a case to case basis, their say being final.
- The discussion of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. From marijuana to crack. No drug talk.

Just have to get that stuff out of the way, not even that I believe in all of it, it's just that it needs to be there for future reference. Anyways, thanks for checking this out, I will be trying to post as many pictures of atv's and cool spots/parts. Enjoy!

@angryham- yeah they're ok I guess, not my favourite. It's like atv's for old people or lame people, honestly it's like a smart car with mud tires. Not that fun.
@reck, you probably win. my 01 quad runner 160e isn't that ghetto, despite some of the mods I've done to it. Also have an 01 quad runner 500, and a 99' polaris trail boss 250 2 stroke automatic.

My shit is from the 80's. They could easily be your ATV's dads.

Yup. I like my machines though and each of them serves a different purpose. I'd like to just sell them and buy 1 that does everything, I don't haul much and I normally just long distance trail ride.

Mine were free and are easy to fix. If I get something nice, it will just get stolen. If someone steals these, it saves me work and I laugh at them.

Yeah I got the 160e for 400$, the 2-stroke for 900$ and the quad runner 500 for 1300$. All in perfect working condition, save for some little things like oil changes and electrical stuff, engine and tranny are all good. Automatic is awkward on the 2 stroke though. No bottom end torque.

atv's are sick. I used to have a yfz450f (atv) and could beat my buddies on there dirtbikes around the track Big Grin

sold it when I took this cr 250 for a ride tho! woah I thought that thing is crazy I have to buy it. needed to sell quad to afford it.

my dad has a rhino 660r they are too slow, always pushing the pedal to the floor honestly. but a few weekends ago it pulled a full size 4x4 dodge ram 2500 out of the mud ( the gas one) but still!
pretty impressive really, they go through any mudpits and are a handy rescue and recovery vehicle. carrys drinks and fuel, and your dirtbike when it blows up in the middle of nowhere
