If it were me i would save the money and buy something that looks even better on the bike, like a nice stem and bar combo or something. 302s arent exactly the worst looking forks about, I ride my street bike with a pair of crappy cross country forks, does the job fine and no one cares!
I'd go for a 318, I own a 302, solid fork overall, stock springs are to the plush side, I'm around 160 and they get the job done, but it would be nice to have adjustments, O well I only payed 300 new so it gets the job done

you can stiffen the fork internally by removing the spring and putting some of the plastic washers that came with the manual in the bag that no one looks at
lol thanx bro, I was wondering what those were for defitnely something to do, is there any instructions or schematics floating around the net?? I'm not really into taking tghings apart without knowing whats goin on
sounds similiar to the old judys and psylos where u take the spring out and swap aaround the spacers to adjust the travel instead these washers just compress the spring
what do you guys think of an argyle 302 with a solo air kit instead of the stock coil spring. A guy is offering me this for $260. he says that i will be able to change the firmness of the fork with the solo air kit installed is this correct???Thanks

This just means you'll be able to change the spring rate via air instead of a new spring. Yes you can make it stiffer but not to the extent you can with the 318's compression adjust.
