Let's Go Ride! Non-Profit Mountain Bike Community Outreach for Kids

I have been a Pink Bike member since 2006 and I am not looking to give back to the mountain bike community. I worked as a mountain bike instructor at Northstar-at-Tahoe in 2010 and since then I have been looking to offer my teachings to more kids.

Let’s Go Ride! (LGR) *will be a non-profit organization started by me, Marcus Reed, a local Chapman University student, bicycle enthusiast, and insurance agent. Our mission is to create a safe, drug-free, informative, and most of all FUN mountain bike experience for children in our local communities. In addition we will also give our students the opportunity to give back to the community through LGR sponsored community outreach opportunities.

For now the program will focus on children in Orange County, CA, but will grow in the future to many other areas of California.

The purpose of this program is to provide these great kids with a stable and positive adult influence, a healthy hobby to help build a strong self image, to provide teens with an opportunity to become leaders in this program and the community.

* We are working on obtaining our (501)(c)(3) in California.

I have created a page for donations and will also serve as a point to spread the word and direct traffic. I would greatly appreciate any donations and word of mouth assistance. This program will be great and I know many kids will benefit from this program.
