Hi everyone,

Just to let you know about a couple of races that are happening down in Haldon Forest on the weekend of the 8th and 9th June this year.

On the back of the success of the mini enduro in February we will be holding an event on the Saturday to try and find the best trail rider in the South West. The day will be split into three separate stages, a technical skills stage, a downhill stage and a cross country finale. You'll pick up time penalty points, for mistakes/slow times in the first two stages which are converted into a staggered start cross country race in the evening, first over the line wins. The catch? you're only allowed one bike for the whole day! Do you pick a mid travel trail bike to excel in the day, or a short travel hardtail to chase them down in the evening?

On the Sunday we will be holding the 'Dark Woods Dual Downhill'. One day to learn and race two tracks, the best cumulative time is the winner.

So, all sounds easy enough right? The best bit is that every single penny we make goes towards Summer Adventures, a two week summer camp for young carers in Exeter and Teignbridge organised by the University of Exeter's Community Action. Young Carers have so many responsibilities and face so many hardships at such a young age, what we want is to give them a chance to do what they do best, just being kids! The more money we raise the better holiday we can give them so literally every entry counts!
