SRAM X.0 carbon cranks and spank spike pedals....compatible?

I picked up a set of Spank Spike pedals for my new Stumpy Evo and the threads are recessed in on the carbon cranks, how can I make it so that the Spike pedals match up while being able to be fully tightened?

i would run a crank washer you can get them from your bike shop but it will tighten and line up better
