Spraying my frame, what paint to use? how to get the best finish etc?

hey there im going to spray my frame purple for the summer but i was just wondering whats the best brand paint to use if there is one,dont want it to chip easy and look scatty. Also how to actually achieve the best finish possible. Let me know if you have any answers, thanks

Dude, I wouldn't bother chap....unless your current paint job is pants, or there is exposed metal and its rusting, it is not worth the hassle. If you really want a colour change then get it blasted and powder coated professionally by a reputable outfit. If you do it yourself, paint will cost you £30 minimum for primer, three coats plus lacquer...and it will still come off when you case it.
