How do I persudae my parents to get me a new bike?

I am starting to get more into downhill and i am looking at getting a better bike but i dont have enough money to buy one and i dont have the time to work for enough money, anyone got any ideas to persuade them?

break a small part on the bike you have, and ask for a replacement part, then break another part and ask for a replacement and then say "this will keep happening as i'm out riding the bikes capabilities which is good as i'm improving so much but sucks as everything will break, a purpose built bike will solve that and allow me to progress without hurting myself"

f*cking people like this piss me off i have had to save for my bikes and im still doing it but people like this go and get things off mummy and daddy let me guess i bet you want a 2500 pound bike well heres the fact get a job and get it your self like normal people what enjoyment are they going to get from buying you a bike ? sorry thats my rant over
