I was thinking CCDB but was worried about the weight.

Have you got one and if you have do you run Titanium or steel spring

Go for the new Cane Creek Double Barrel air shock with the climbing system, not as heavy as the spring version and apparently the performance is fantastic. I couldn't speak, I run a RP23 kashima, but from what I hear

I run the AIR , I have had a RP23 and a Monarch they don't come close to the CCDBA

Air or Coil guys is their much difference?

Posted: Sep 21, 2013 at 8:44 Quote
Coil is more predictably progressive, air gets super stiff in the last 10-15% of travel, depending on your settings. I prefer air, many prefer coil.
Given the fact you're also worried about weight, go air

Coil guys say how air shocks over heat. It's a crock of shit. Yes there could be a change in air pressure. But some people act like it jumps 50psi.

So don't be worried going air. And the Ccdb is made by ohlins one of the best suspension company's out there.

Im thinking the air is the way forward with this although the coil does look amazing
