I see everyone posting flower pictures, so I figured I'd post up one of my better flower pictures from this summer.

I took this with an old Pentax M Super Takumar 135mm f/3.5 lens.

I didn't like the white business on the stem, so I purposely didn't get that in focus for those of you who will comment on that.

1/45th/s @ F/11. 135mm @ ISO 200.

I love the colors. Film just seems to give so much more saturation.

If I could afford to buy film and have it developed, I'd never shoot digital again.

The lens was originally designed for film cameras, but you can still use them on Pentax digital bodies. I have two film SLR's, but they are both Canon. I shot that picture with a Pentax Ist DS digital body.

Actually, I said 135mm. 135mm focal length for that lens in particular. Smile
