Killed my free wheel hub body today and looking for a new one but I've notice chain reaction do steel or alloy ones.
Which is better ?

Alloy is lighter but will mar if used with all steel cassettes, they ideally need alloy spider cassettes to avoid it and in worst cases the cassette can become stuck on the hub, for shimano cassettes I think its XT and above, &not sure what SRAM cassettes use alloy spiders 1070? and above maybe.

Steel ones get less damage on the freehub splines from cassettes and ali ones get chewed up , I always buy ali ones though
