Slopestyle for my dh/fr?

now im not buying yet, but i have a question. I ride dh/fr but i can only afford one bike, would it be worth getting a slopestyle frame? im only 13 so im small and light, and i only want rear suspension to take the hits, so i would run it pretty rigid. I would most likely buy next christmas, are the kona bass anygood?
