Hello all,

Can anyone suggest a good wireless security camera suitable for an outdoor bike shed?

I live in an absolute sh!thole of an area, and have my bikes all locked up in a outdoor communal bike shed (that only I seem to use or have access to). Some dodgy looking characters lurking about recently have prompted me to re-evaluate my security systems.

Camera needs to:
- be wireless up to 30m
- be battery powered
- be motion activated
- have night vision
- have instant notification to mobile phone
- have instant wireless video streaming to ftp/cloud

The security I have already is:
- Padlock on the door
- Floor anchor
- Kryptonite U lock (cant remember what one, its about a foot long 30cm)
- motorbike security chain + padlock

Any feedback would be appreciated!

I've tried lots of security cameras because the area I live is just about the worst you could get. There are quite a few good ones actually, but it really depends on your budget.

If your looking for something comprehensive then give this a try: http://www.amazon.co.uk/SUNLUXY-Weatherproof-Security-Camera-Surveillance/dp/B008A26D6U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1397515689&sr=8-2&keywords=security+camera. I know its a little overkill for your requirements, but maybe you could place the other three security cameras around the house or something? This system lets you view the stream on your phone/ipad/computer anytime, also it alerts you when movement is detected and has night vision. I recently setup this system at my work office and haven't looked back, will be ordering again next month for the house.

At the moment for my shed I personally use the GuardCam:: http://www.securitycamerareviews.co.uk/reviews/esp-guardcam-security-light-cctv-camera-system-with-voice-alert-review/ It's brill! Voice alerts, security light, motion detected - basically perfect for a shed or detached building. Obviously not going to beat the Sunluxy system but it's cheaper of course.
