In the forks category i can suggest get some Argyle's they are amazing not personally a fan of bombers but i loved my Argyle rc, really stiff, Compression adjustments, rebound adjustments and all around a great sturdy fork. Now for the tires i ran and still run some bontrager G-1's love them also have heard good things about the bontrager G-Zeros the bit more expensive version of the g-1's because they are lighter i think

let me just say first that this post might be a little bias because i've mainly ridden RoxShox Argyle RCT for DJ.
First you gotta know the different pricing and differences on the Argyle forks because there are three different types:

Argyle R: http://www.sram.com/rockshox/products/argyle-r
Argyle RC: http://www.sram.com/rockshox/products/argyle-rc
Argyle RCT: http://www.sram.com/rockshox/products/argyle-rct

Both the R and RC are coil forks were the RCT is an Air fork. this for me is huge. I love both the feeling and versatility of an air fork. I feel like being able to easily change the resistance is necessary if you plan on riding both street and dirt like I do. of course like everything else, it is personal preference, however I can say I personally love the Argyle RCT.

As for the Bomber, I haven't owned one but my brother has and he likes it a lot. just like the Argyle series the Bomber series also had three different types of fork. to my knowledge (correct me if i'm wrong) all the bombers have a coil shock.

It really all comes down to what you will like and what your price range is. the RCT is definitely a higher end fork with a price tag of $770 whereas the Bomber costs around $300.

And for tires, I personally like the kenda K-rads and the Bontrager xr1, but I think they recently changed the xr1. they used to look like this: http://bikeline.com/images/library/large/bntr_1_tire1_09_m.jpg

Hope this was helpful and sorry for any grammar issue, I didn't proof read.

The Argyles are a more high end fork and feel more plush. The Bomber is pretty heavy but at a better price. edit: I would go with Maxxis DTHs or ITS Micro Knobby 2s for tires.
