Rockshock Charger damper bleed tips

I am going to bleed my RS Pike Charger damper and I have Reverb bleed kit. The bleed tip of the Reverb will not fit in the Charger damper. Has anyone achieved bleed the damper with DIY bleed tip? The original Charger bleed tips are sold out in Finland.

Cheers dude, would you post up a drawing with the measuremtns when you get it - I'd like to make oe. I suspect the lowertip an do-ring is more critical than thethreaded portin.

Needless to say, I was in a rush and didn't have the time nor patience to order the proper tip. I used a reverb tip and shoved a small O-Ring to the bottom of the threads. I wrapped the reverb tip with soft hockey tape to form a snug fit in the threads and held it tight against the o-ring to form a seal. In the end, it worked fine... a bit messier than the proper tip would have been, but I was able to bleed it.

For $20, I'll probably buy the proper tip before I service the damper again, but in a pinch (or if you're cheap), this worked fine...

If it has, either change the seal for the damper shaft, or upgrade to the NS Dynamics seal head which will seal better, and provide more consistency through the service life and last longer that the og sealing.

The seal is made from different material than the original one so it is pretty stiff to install but it should reduce the leaking problems.

I don't know any other store than the Fillariosa.fi where you could purchase the seal but maybe somebody else knows?

The damper shaft felt more sticky after the seal replacement but I didn`t noticed any stickyness when the fork was rebuild.
