I just bought a new Demo and I drive a Lexus GS model. I want to get pinkbike's opinion on the best way of transporting this beast with the car that I have. For those that do not have hitch mount receivers, what methods do you guys use?

Thanks for the input!

I have Opel Astra Bertone Coupe that can take a bike into trunk if I tip backseats down. If possible dirt/etc. is an issue or need to transport more than one bike then roof rails and racks. Either Thule or Mont Blanc have good roof racks. Check out Thules website http://www.thule.com/ there is this tool that tells you the right products you need based on the model of your car.

I prefer to put my bikes inside of vehicles whenever possible and ive found its very easy to fit a big bike in most cars if you just take front wheel off and release the passenger seatrests handlebars first is the way to go.
