The dust cover on my headset has lifted up a few mm, not sure how it's happened. It seems a really tight fit a so difficult to get back down and seat it, is it just a question of hitting harder with a block of wood and mallet? Want to check i'm not going to break anything before i do that! Picture attached to show what i mean:

So, is all together correctly, nothing upside down? lightly grease the steerer, it all should seat correctly without striking it. what happens when you compress it with the stem/etc?
