Hi all, I have a 2012 Jekyll 4. I want to upgrade the front shock to a enduro.. I did a enduro race this past summer and want to try some more. Bike came with a sector but is abit light for my weight (190 Lbs) . I have been looking for a fox talas 1.5 s ctd 120-150 or 130-160. Is there a other shock I should be considering? Thanks in advance. Regards David Visser (safecracker)
160mm talas will be fine. if you want hard hitting get the 36s, the 34s will save some weight. I still run the factory 150mm 32 talas and seem fine for normal riding etc.
Broke the 32's fairly quickly. . Upgraded to 160mm pikes, then installed the novi dampener upgrade and never looked back. Bike now goes where I want it to, not where the flexy 32's feel like going.
So much more staunch... mix that with some 35mm wide Zelvy Carbon rims and the jekyll really brings out its inner Hyde.
