Is the base model suspension of the yt tues al with a rs kage rc and boxxer rc any good?

I have an enduro with ccdb cs and a pike which i think is considered to be pretty good. Just looking for a bike to take to france and the occasional uplift. 1700 is the top of my budget but i don't mind quality second hand stuff. I don't want to buy something that feels rubbish against what i have.

I did take my enduro last yr but i would like something more. I did consider a kona entourage but i think it will be too close to my enduro..any thoughts would be appreciated.
