I have just purchased a new whyte t-129 scr works. The bike comes with a pike 120mm. I am wondering if anyone has swapped the air shaft in theirs to increase the travel? I'm tempted to try the fork at 130 or 140mm. Anyone with any experience of this?

It's possible to convert the fork, about £35 for the part, TF tuned can help with that if you just drop them an email. The geometry on the whyte is already pretty slack and I think this is were you'll have issues, I'd do some calculations to see how the extra length in the forks would effect the geometry and if the numbers still add up the go for it.

Cheers. I think there's defo room for another 10mm. It'll set the ha to 67.8 so not too over the top
