Hi guys,
I'm heading up to Silver Star after a hockey tournament in Kelowna and I was thinking of checking out the XC trails (if I back out there are always valley).
I know it's very new , how are the trails for a pretty pure beginner?
I've done some beginner trails out here in bby, but have yet to learn to bunny hop so I have to walk the bike over bigger obstacles.
We have never been to the area so any recommendations would be great (Valley and lower XC trails).

Ellison is pretty nice and easy. I take my kids up there. its across from Ellison provincial park. you will see outhouses and a parking lot. just before you get to the gates.

I didnt do this on purpose but as it turns out I know this guy. I didnt recognise him to begin with but I rode with him as part of a group in Whistler a couple of years ago. On day 2 we got into it for exactly this. he would move to the front and ride the brakes and would on purposely ride your tire when he got close enough. Its a small world.

Ellison is a great place to start for easier flow riding.
Then when you're ready, ride Deez Nutz. (See VOD above)
It's within the Ellison riding area.

I should also mentioned I think I may of seen Arron Gwin today in booster juice. Im not positive but there was 3 guys in there and I could of swore I knew them. They also had a couple of specialised boxes in the back of their truck. Also specialised hats etc... I also maybe crazy.

Every now and then some finatic religious group leaves a shortened version of a bible in my mail box.

I always make sure to burn it so that future generations don't one day discover it and take it as truth.
