im sure dmr ss kits are poor,have you ever tried one,i own one and its mint,rides the same as the day i got it and ive had it sincethe beginning of september.And whats so bad about 50/50's? i have kona jackshits and they are fine,and are like $60

Cog base is too narrow on the DMR kit, gusset double six keeps the freehub body in better condition if you want to use a geared hub. Secondly the internals of 50/50's are very poor! Well known fact.
