Hi I'm new to the Philadelphia area, and I'm looking for a place to do some freeride, downhill, or technical trail riding. Does anyone know of a place like that? I've been to Wissahickon, and it was lots of fun, but I'd love to find something with more jumps, drops, and roots.

Launch Bike Park at Spring Mtn. It's not lift-served any more, but still open, and its got all the jumps and drops you could ask for. Also Blue Mtn, a bit further.

For techy SE PA trails, Mt. Penn is the standard answer.

I've seen Launch Bike Park is closed for 2015, is this true?
I'll be in PA during July, looking for someone to ride with, maybe visit Mountain Creek and Blue Mountain?
